What is KVAT Registration and Why It’s Required ?
Karnataka State KVAT/CST or TIN Number is Indirect tax registration which is mandatory for the Charge VAT from the Customer through Invoice. so Ultimate Burden is on the customer but you have to recover the VAT from them and pay to the Maharashtra Government. even for the Register on Marketplace like Flipkart/Snapdeal/Amazon or for ecommerce business or trading or manufacturing concern need KVAT/CST Registration. its is mandatory registrationa when your turnover is crossed 7.5 Lac INR in a year or 62000/- INR per month but most of the startups apply for the KVAT in the starting of the business.
Documents Required for KVAT Registration
- PAN card of the Proprietor.
- Adhar card or Voter id or Driving License.
- Business Place Proof like Rent Agreement & NOC from landlord or Electricity bills
Time Line for the Registration
KVAT Registration takes minimum 5 to 6 working days and Verification from the VAT Inspector takes time case to case basis.
KVAT Registration Government Registration Fee will be 4750/-INR and rest fee charge as Professional fee.
